Curiosity and assumptions

Why do humans classify aliens superior to us? It's just an assumption, but why a negative one? Everything has always been stamped through an assumption.Aliens are big creatures ,three fingered, with metal base uniforms, scary eyes, and are highly intellectual which do not match a human brain. Sometimes told as insect-like species who have webbed fingers and has a glow-in-the-dark skin. They come in space ships and their purpose for commencing into earth is to encroach upon it. Says who? This is one dilemma yet to be solved.

We have movies like Independence day and ET where the former potrays aliens as beasts who are born for destroying human and their inventions, and the latter where aliens can be a simple friend. Aliens could be something which cannot be seen and only heard. Or could be something felt. Honey bees can view colours we can't cos of their compound eyes. Probably they can see aliens. Humans have always been preaching themselves as the most powerful ones after God, ofcourse because of the booming technology we have. Then in that case we should probably consider aliens as a friendly creature who can probably help us out in knowing things we are yet to discover. We are suppose to be prepared and equiped with technology good enough to fight the aliens but should never be afraid of something which has not been proved to be living in the universe. And we have the great cinema which can guide us/mislead us into curiosity of such creatures. It would certainly be wonderful to have aliens living with us.

Now I have to run for another shoot for 3 days..will update you with that as soon as I am back. Ciao!

hey...nice questions here. the mainstream entertainment scene cant be justified...they are jst crap.

But sci-fi stories and books have great aliens...and human alien love stories. Writers respect alien life forms, it might be kind of a melodrama...but SF stories gives a wider picture in terms of alien human relations.

did u know that scientific studies say that if we do see aliens, the probability that they r some kind of bugs or organic creatures is the highest

p.s. i read that in a michael crichton novel, so dont sue me if its wrong

hey chef.. long time.. and yes I will sue you if crichton's novel is a fiction.

yes...alien organisms....but they cant fly all the way over here :p

on another thought, scientist are now saying many bugs, bacteria, etc on earth might be aliens after all...who knows?

i think it is just human nature that when we dont know about something, we fear it... either we continue to fear it or try to conquer... that is just how it works...
you brought up and interesting point :)
Cool post!

Probably because things that exist beyond our reach and tangibility have always enthused everyone, until and only to the core of proving that nothing is actually beyond Human Simulation.

Clearly no one knows how aliens look; it’s just a fantasy of people that comes in films. Till no evidence of aliens exist in earth, its hard to guess how and in which form they will be.

Its very true that aliens are projected as beasts. i can mention about another flick- Halo, where also the aliens are projected as beasts...maybe to show their ferocity or human beings are just unique with no similar ones!

PSYCHO said...

well actually the icture drawn of aliens is backed up by scientitic evidence, if ppl want , i'll write a post on it sometime

Neha Nair said...

ghost particle: I thought creatures who are not part of the earth are aliens. I think this topic is getting too messy.

Neha Nair said...

Kalyan:Some movies have featured them as beasts and some as friends. But either way they are pictured superior to us.On what basis is my question.
